Hyatt Pinon Pointe in Sedona: A Hidden Gem Steps from Uptown

This weekend, we’re staying at Hyatt Vacation Club at Pinon Pointe in Sedona, Arizona, and this place is an absolute win.

The location alone makes it worth checking out. The resort is just steps away from Uptown Sedona, which means you are right in the center of town with restaurants, shops, sightseeing, and those famous red rock views all around you. Whether you are walking around town, heading out for a scenic drive, or just relaxing at the resort, everything feels easy and convenient.

One of the biggest highlights is the view. From the resort, and especially from the pool deck, you are surrounded by Sedona’s red rocks everywhere you look. The pool area is beautiful, with pools, Jacuzzis, lounge space, and that peaceful Sedona backdrop that makes you want to sit and stay awhile.

The resort also has plenty to enjoy without even leaving the property. There is a game room with a pool table, ping-pong tables nearby, and everything is just steps away from the room. It is the kind of place where you can relax, have fun, and still feel like you are getting the full Sedona experience.

We have been to Sedona many times, and we even lived here for three years, so we know how pricey lodging can get. For around $300, this stay feels like a great value. The room is beautiful, the views are incredible, the location is perfect, and it is literally about half the price of many of the bigger resorts in the area.

Hyatt Vacation Club at Pinon Pointe may have started as more of a timeshare-style property, but for a weekend stay in Sedona, it checks all the boxes: beautiful views, central location, resort amenities, and a price that feels like a win.

If you have a weekend open and no plans, this is one to consider. Big thumbs up from us.
